365 Days in Infrared

In January 2014 Kate Davies embarked on a project to take a picture a day, every day, for a year.

Using infrared photography – which meant she could not see anything through the viewfinder while shooting – she conjured up a silent, ethereal beauty. Opting for a circular crop meant working mindfully – framing each shot engaged Kate’s full attention, resulting in a thoughtful procession of images of a year going round in circles.

The images in this gallery are a condensed version of the full 365 images.
